This is a great debut album from an up-and-coming Christian Rock band. Each song has a unique message as you peel back the layers. My favorite is "Take Me With You". It spoke to me as someone who often wonders if I'm good enough to go. The album as a whole is a message of hope. Something this world needs desperately now more than ever.

Amethyst Heart came to play at Cafe Montemartre in Reston, VA where I host an open mic night. I was surprised to see an elaborate drum kit being set up at an open mic event, but these guys were determined to play their music and they gave it all they had. It was a stunning performance indeed! I let them play for close to an hour and people really enjoyed it. They played from the heart and had songs both happy and sad. For the most part it was all upbeat. I was nervous that because they were a Christian band they might be out promoting Christianity, but it wasn't like that at all. They were simply there to play their music and have a good time! I recommend this band for anyone seeking live music in their venue. - David Mascatello

On January 24, 2012, the band, Amethyst Heart, came to play at a venue in Reston, VA called Cafe Montmartre where I host an open mic night.
